The short version: this is an AI helper that checks for scams and guides you through computer problems one step at a time. You decide what to do, and you are responsible for your own computer and accounts.
Computer Support Inc. is run by SHORE AI LLC. It uses AI to give you a plain-English opinion on whether something looks like a scam, and to guide you through everyday computer, phone and tablet problems. It works only through this website. We never call you, and we never connect to your device.
It is not a repair shop, a manufacturer's warranty service, a security monitoring service, or a professional IT consultant. Nothing here is legal, financial or professional advice, and using it does not create any professional relationship. Some problems, such as a broken screen, a swollen battery or a failing drive, need a repair shop or the maker's support, and the helper will say so.
Answers are written by AI. AI can make mistakes, including mistakes about whether something is a scam. A scam check is an opinion based on what you showed it, not a guarantee that something is safe or unsafe. You are responsible for deciding what to do, and for making a copy of anything important before you change your device. We do not guarantee that a problem will be solved.
You keep ownership of what you type and upload. You give us permission to process it, including by sending it to our AI service provider, only as needed to provide the service. See our Privacy page for how it is handled.
Scam checks are free. In a fix, the first few steps are free. After that you can pay to unlock the rest of that conversation, or buy a pack that covers up to the number of fixes shown at checkout over the period shown there. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
If you are charged and your fix does not unlock, or something breaks, email us and we will fix it or refund you. Because you can try the free steps before you pay and the help is delivered right away, other payments are not refundable except where the law requires it.
This site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will meet your needs.
To the fullest extent the law allows, SHORE AI LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, money or opportunities, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.
We may change the site or these terms, and we will update the date above. We may suspend access for misuse. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
